I’m an assistant professor at the College of Arts and Social Sciences, Sultan Qaboos University, where I teach mass communication and media studies in both Arabic and English. My research and teaching sit at the intersection of Gulf media systems, community broadcasting, and the digital public sphere — alongside a practical, production-focused side of my work in TV graphics and motion design.
Alongside his academic work, Sultan Al-Azri has spent over a decade working in theatrical set design, costume design, and visual art. A selection of that work is below.
